Hey there! I'm so excited to announce that I'm on Patreon. If you've never heard of it before, it's a platform that makes it super easy to share exclusive content with subscribers. Of course, it's also a way for people who love what I do to show their support.
During the process of creating a patreon page, my pride flared up quite a few times. It was telling me that the only way this wouldn't look desperate or entitled was if I treated it solely as a subscription service; value in exchange for certain dollar tiers. However, after reading "The Art of Asking" by Amanda Palmer, I was convicted that art is neutered when we make it about a series of monetary transactions.
This is why I left it up to you to decide how much to give; every patron gets access to the same content. This way, I prime myself magic that can happen when art is held with an open hand, but I also am able to put real dollars towards making better art.
Last, but certainly not least, my latest demo is now available on SoundCloud. FYI, for next month's demo, I will be releasing it to Patrons first.
